stop motion animation!!

Importance of play

Children are hacked into playing video games on their ipad,  laptops, tablets, play stations, x - box & phones that they don't know how to play anymore. I don't know about what other schools are like but the children at my school don't know how to play social games like skipping, hopscotch, leap frog, marbles, etc. We as support staff have to show them & encourage social play. I find the children in this generation learn what they watch. They play fighting, war games, destroying places & they are prone to think this is normal!! Children need to be children!!

Reflecting on e-safety stop motion

Panic over!!
Today in  ICT we learnt to use an app on an ipad to make an stop motion clip for parents & children. This involved using
☆characters,
☆a chosen setting,
☆speech bubbles,
and moving the characters to make the motion happen. It had 2 involve how to show children & young people how easy is it for predators to access the Internet & get involved with young people without them knowing who they are really talking to! Using stop motion has been very good & challenging. We recommend that parents take extra care when allowing their children on the Internet. Overall been a good lesson!!

Reflection on ICT tutorial

All I know is there is so much to do in so little time!! Tutorial went well I think, but not sure what to do or what to start on!!

Reflecting on Developing the Classroom Team assignment

Only got my evaluation left to do for Developing the Classroom Team assignment. It's not been the hardest assignments yet but if surely has been the longest. Observation on Wednesday, not nervous at all. Quite excited 😊😏

First time using Smart notebook

Ok so I was very apprehensive on using the smart notebook in ICT lesson but I have shocked myself & managed to get some work done by exploring. Feeling pleased with myself for being able to process new technology & retain the information. Yayyyy to me 😊👍😏

Presentation is over & done with

Finally done my ICT presentation & not sure what percent marks I got but I feel very proud of myself to have completed my presentation that is close to my heart. Well done to everybody that did there presentation, everybody did so well. 

First day back at work!!

So its the first day back at work!! All I can say is I missed the little monsters I have been working with for 4 years!! Yeh, 4years. Gosh, that's along time!! I am shattered after the first day. Body & mind need another 2 weeks off please.

School holiday are just about done

2 weeks off school are just about done! Really enjoyed my holidays,  not that I went away but still had a relaxing 2 weeks off, soaking up the British sun! #British#Weather#

Reflection on today @ work

I have had a busy day, and have enjoyed most of my day @ work as I always do. Started with an reading test paper & moved onto a numeracy lesson about weight. The objects the children found are so typical like!! The boys are typical boys & the girls in my class are so comical & the comments they make are hilarious. The children I work with make my day 😊😀
